Catmint

Catmint is a spreading plant with silvery green foliage and light purple flowers that attracts butterflies and bees. Some varieties sport blossoms that are white or light pink. Flowers start in late spring; shear off the stalks immediately after they finish to promote another wave of blooming.

Catmint is not quite the same as catnip, however some cats still find themselves attracted to catmint in the garden. The reaction seems to be less “intoxicating” and more “soothing.” So, you may be spending more time outside with a furry friend.
