Echinacea- Coneflower

Echinacea have large daisy like flowers that come in warm shades of pink, white, red, yellow, and orange. They bloom midsummer through fall. They make good cut flowers, attract bees and butterflies, and some have lovely fragrance. Deadheading extends the bloom season, but the dried seed heads can add winter structure and provide some food for finches and other birds.
